Construction

Construction plays an integral role in VSD's investment strategy. Through partnerships with international corporations, VSD is bringing the latest technology in the environmental field to Vietnam. Notable examples include:

• Green Star CRE Energy Plant, which began commercial operations in 2022 as a result of VSD's partnership with Chosun Refractories Engineering Group. The construction of the plant, water treatment system using reverse osmosis (RO) water purification technology, and electricity substation and transmission line were all carried out by CRE Vietnam, a limited company belonging to VSD's portfolio.
• A Waste to Energy plant by T&J Green Energy Company Limited, which is currently under construction and set to begin operations by the end of 2023. The construction and technology for this plant come from Japan and are provided by JFE Engineering Corporation.
• A chemical manufacturing and dispensing factory project, located at Lot 2C, Zone A, Tam Duong II Industrial Park, Kim Long commune, Tam Duong district, Vinh Phuc province, which is being invested in by VSD Chemical Company Limited. The project is focused on manufacturing and dispensing chemicals for environmental treatment and is expected to begin operations by the end of 2022.

It is evident that VSD's desire to invest in construction is geared towards bringing the most cutting-edge and innovative technologies in the world to their environmental and hydropower projects in Vietnam. The ultimate goal is to create a synergistic value chain that prioritizes sustainability from within and without.
