VSD Holdings' investment in Environment Service offers an all-in-one station for businesses seeking comprehensive environmental solutions in Vietnam. Our suite of services includes Environmental Consulting, Waste Treatment, Recycling, and Scrap Trading.

The ecosystem comprises more than 20 member companies operating across the north and middle regions of Vietnam. The waste treatment network covers 70% of the northern market and spans several provinces, including Phu Tho, Thai Nguyen, Bac Giang, Bac Ninh, Quang Ninh, Hai Phong, Hai Duong, and Hung Yen. Bac Ninh is home to several well-known waste treatment plants, such as: 

  • Industrial and municipal waste treatment at Ngu Thai
  • Hazardous waste treatment and recycling at Gia Dong
  • Waste to Energy plant at Que Vo – partnership with Chosun Refractories Engineering Group. Under the witness of representatives of Ministry of Environment Korea (MOEK), Korea Environmental Industry & Technology Institute (KEITI), the Memorandum of Understanding for implementation of Artificial Intelligence solution for Waste Incineration has been signed between project leader and SK Ecoplant Group.
  • Waste to Energy plant at Ngu Thai – financially supported by the Japanese government through Financing Program for the Joint Crediting Mechanism (JCM) Model Projects in FY 2021. A loan from the International Finance Corporation (IFC) of the World Bank Group and the Finland - IFC Blended Finance for Climate Program will be used to finance for T&J's plant construction and operation.

Other noteworthy environmental service productivity figures include:

  • Wastewater treatment capacity exceeding 15,000 m3 per day.
  • Scrap trading capacity of 4,000 tons of cardboard per month, 2,700 tons of plastic per month, and 2,000 tons of aluminum per month.
